We are settled in a nice and quiet place, located next to the sea, but at the same time in the countryside and close to the city. Le Pampin is a locality of La Rochelle situated next to the village of L'Houmeau. The beach of L' Houmeau (flat shingles) is at about half a mile from "Le Pampin" and 10 minutes from the Ré Island sand beaches. Close to us, 25 km of cycle tracks and superbly arranged pedestrian paths border all the littoral and communicate with the "Ile de Ré". The town centre and the Old Harbor of La Rochelle are at 10 minutes in the car.
